Interpretation
Game mechanics (numbers/board) Interpretation
Daily Keno’s statistics basically say you pick up to ten numbers from 1 to 80, then the lottery draws twenty from that same pool without replacement, and your payoff depends on how many of your chosen numbers overlap the winning set, because apparently hope is best quantified in match tiers.

Interpretation
Payouts/odds (prize tiers) Interpretation
Illinois Daily Keno’s prize chart, where payouts rise with how many of your numbers match the draw, is governed by the same “exactly k matches” math you would get from the hypergeometric distribution, because drawing 20 numbers from an 80 number pool is basically probability counting with no number allowed to be reused.

Prices/odds (cost, valuation) Interpretation
Illinois Daily Keno’s “How to play” page treats keno like a pay-for-your-luck bargain by showing that ticket costs change with how many numbers you pick, and it bluntly notes that more picks generally means better odds but higher cost, just like the official game setup elsewhere.
