While the industry is clearly sprinting toward a more sustainable and high-tech future, investing heavily in bio-based materials and eagerly launching products for electric vehicles, it's also desperately trying to clean up its own act by improving recyclability and reducing emissions, as if finally realizing its miraculous creations shouldn't outlast the planet itself.
